Project Code: 004-079-A

Style

Modern Modern-Farmhouse

Design Concept

Knot too Cool

Description

Functionally, the primary goal of this bathroom renovation is to convert a bathtub into a walk-in shower. Items from a previous renovation including the vanity, light fixture, medicine cabinet and toilet are retained and integrated into the new design.
The overall feel of this design is familiar and comforting with modern functional touches. Wood-look tile flooring in ash gray provides a visual nod to nature but in a size and pattern that pushes it from rustic to farmhouse modern. The centerpiece of the renovation is the new shower with a frameless glass enclosure that provides an uninterrupted view of the shimmering floor-toceiling tile installed in a classic brick-joint pattern. The wall tile with its soft edge and subtle wavy surface has a handmade look. For a touch of character and warmth a dusty red wall paint in a satin finish is the perfect counterpart to the other cooler finishes.
